How to wash down products
Close all zippers and velcro fasteners. Use about one third of the usual amount of a mild detergent, or preferably a special down soap which can be purchased in most sporting equipment stores. Wash at 30℃ on a gentle cycle. Rinse the product at least five times to get rid of all the detergent and to ensure that the down does not stick together. The product should not be in the centrifuge for more than thirty seconds before being put directly into the tumble dryer ( the product should not be left lying in water). Set the tumble dryer on the lowest temperature and make sure that this does not exceed 50℃. To ensure that the down keeps its insulating quality it is preferable to insert three to four tennis balls to the tumble dryer. Take the product out of the dryer every twenty minutes and manually adjust the down to ensure that it does not stick together in lumps. Please be aware that it takes a considerable amount of time before the product is completely dry.
Note: Any fur must be removed prior to washing.
Maintainance of alpacca fur

A wool garment is best dried by rolling it in a fluffy towel, gently apply pressure and then leave it to dry lying flat on top of the towel. Wool should not be dried in direct sunlight because this may cause the natural lanolin to dry out. By regularly airing out wool products the need for washing is reduced. Wool is a living natural product and hence has the ability to get rid of smell and fluff through airing out.

Suede and leather garments are high quality items. They require special care to maximize wearing life, beginning at home. Always store your leather in a cool, ventilated area to prevent drying and mildew. Never use plastic bags as storage, and always let wet garments air dry away from heat. Since leather and suede are very susceptible to staining from perspiration and body oils, make sure to protect vulnerable areas by wearing scarves and shirts with sleeves. Stains should always be cared for by a professional dry cleaner as soon as possible.
